This beauty purrrssss. A very unique history. Originally was purchased for the movie industry. After a few New York based movies and TV shows, this cat sat inside a conditioned warehouse for the next 7 years. She was then driven by the executive Olympic Committee for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. She returned to storage, along with 3,000 other movie cars at a New Jersey conditioned garage for another 16 years. The last picture of this series shows her snuggled next to other Jaguars during this 16 year time.
I purchased her, along with all the other Jaguars in storage from this company supplying movie cars. I changed the fluids, flushed the fuel lines and started right up. I did replace all of the fuel injectors, fuel tank with genuine Jaguar parts. Everything else is original, The paint is excellent for her age. No cracks, spalling or spidering. The interior is in very good condition with the exception of the wood veneer on the console. Every functions as it should. Sometime during the Atlantic Olympic Games a new beautiful steering wheel was installed and sets it apart from all others.
The undercarriage is nearly rust free. I have never driven it in rain or snow. I love my Jaguars (some in the pictures). I have too many and need to thin the heard. The interior carpet is as good as the near perfect leather seats. This beauty shows well as is. Notice the clean bottom rails of the doors, the no accident, perfect side lines and panels. This is the perfect car to drive and enjoy.
This exceptionally well-kept, great-looking classic Jaguar XJS v12 luxury coupe automobile, one of the finest series that Jaguar makes. This is the rare XJS model - not many of these original Jaguars left. This car says a lot about its owner and has been renowned in the world as a symbol of prestige and class, as well as having great performance.
The vehicle has been made and assembled entirely in England! It's been very well kept and serviced. It’s a great-looking exterior in tan metallic color which combined with the tan leather interior adds a lot of luxury appeal to it.
There are no reported manufacturer defects on this vehicle.
The engine is an exceptional V12 - runs strong and smooth and provides the power you have come to expect from a Jaguar. The transmission has the Jaguar mark on it as well and shifts like on a new car, with no skips or slips on shifts. The car runs great! The engine compartment is clean and free of any leaks. All the electrical options appear to be in working order. As you can judge for yourself from the pictures - the interior is clean while the seats show almost no wear! Extensive Leather and wood trim add a true luxury touch.
