The interior is very nice on this low mileage car. There is some wear on the driver's seat. We show a close up of this in the coming photos.
The driver's seat does show some wear, but nothing sever. With a professional detailing, the interior would be excellent.
The Auto Check report shows these miles to be actual.
The engine compartment is in very good condition. The V12 runs great and we have noticed just a spot or two under it.
You can see how clean the engine compartment is. This car has been well taken care of.
For an unrestored 30 year old car, the undercarriage looks very good.
The Good Year tires were just installed a month or so ago. It went right from the tire shop to our showroom, so there are very few miles on
them.

dealer. Texas residents are responsible for TT&L fees. Out of state
residents are required to pay sales tax in their state of residence. We do have
a document fee of $50. and a vehicle inventory tax charged on all cars sold in
Texas of .001680 % of the sale price. (Example- $20,000. car would be $33.60)

The XJS was born under the stewardship of legendary Jaguar Design Engineer Michael Sayer, who played a major role in the design of the E-Type. However, the 70's was a different ballgame for the British luxury manufacturer who, like all contemporary automakers, had to take emissions regulations and a changing market demographic into consideration. The luxury XJ-S was marketed as a “Grand-Tourer" and its larger than life V-12 engine reflected what this car stood for. The convertible option was offered through dealers in the US before 1988, but this example is a true Jaguar factory two-seat full convertible. Painted in a gorgeous Dark Blue with a Tan leather interior and plenty of fancy accessories, this ‘Jag looks like an outfit you'd put on for the country club and the V-12 has the displacement to go with that larger-than-life attitude. Pushing 270hp/290lb ft of torque from the factory (GREAT numbers for the 1980's), the XJ-S HE is an effortless driver wherever you're heading. Jaguar wanted to make life as easy as possible for the XJ-S owner so a 3-speed GM-sourced “Turbo Hydramatic" automatic transmission comes standard as does Jaguar's “Long Travel Suspension" and four-wheel disc brakes, giving the XJ-S the perfect balance of American comfort and European road handling. To put the icing on the cake of this well-preserved car, there are just 30,000 actual miles on the odometer making this 1988 Jaguar convertible a real time capsule and collector. [ omitted ]. General Terms
AVAILABILITY
: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation. In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS
: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis. Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale. If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced. Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed. A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. PayPal and American Express is not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE
: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
Fees and Taxes
All finalized transactions will have additional charges if applicable which could include the following: sales tax, title fees, license & registration fees, and other additional government or licensing agency charges to register the vehicle. The purchaser is responsible for these charges.
The advertised price and winning auction bids shall include a document fee of $397.63.
