Vehicle Details
I've been the 2nd owner for about 17 years. The mileage is original to the best of my knowledge having about 64k miles when I made the purchase. I'm downsizing in preparation for retirement and selling the Jag as I no longer have a garage to maintain it. It requires some cosmetic TLC but is basically a good running vehicle. My intent was to always fully restore it but life got in the way and I've run out of time. I'd like to see it go to a good home and possible restoration in the future. I've attached some pics including ones of the seats which are need of repair. I have 17+ years of maintenance records but they are currently in a storage unit and I'll be glad to pass those on once settled. Here are some points to consider:- Interior header trim on driver side is missing. It popped out, fell and broke into pieces. I have the the pieces in the trunk.- The driver and passenger side seat stitching began popping last year and needs repair. See pics.- There is a parasitic drain that I've not been able to identify.- The automatic transmission is slow to change from 2nd to 3rd gear. I've not investigated the cause as it's intermittent.- The AC works but not well. May need more refrigerant. - Instrument panel lights are not functioning. Please ask all questions before bidding as this auction is "Sold as Is" and No Reserve. The buyer is responsible for pick-up. I will not arrange for any shipments.Only members with purchase transaction history will be allowed to participate due to obvious scams. I reserve the right to cancel those bids should they occur. Thanks for your understanding.

Download the eBay Motors app i AM A 71 YEAR OLD WIDOW.
This was my husband's car  - He searched for a long time and finally bought it from a dealer in Boca Raton Fla. He enjoyed warm days driving this to lunch and golf. HE was not a smoker..
He recently passed away and I am suffering from cancer therapy.
I would like to sell this beautiful car to someone who will love it as he did. I am told it is a classic wit ever increasing value since it has been 25 years since the last "XJS"
car rolled off the assembly line.
The exterior is Champagne colored with chrome trim. The interior is Beige/Tan in color with light colored Burl wood trim.  The soft black top has been torn by my son's cats where the car was stored inside his garage. The exterior is in great shape. There is a chip on the front hood which has been touched up but it is still a beautiful car.
There is no wear on the seat cushions, except where the back of the seat meets the lower part of the seat  The a/c works- The mirror is in great shape in the glove box. There is a cigarette lighter, and both ashtrays open and close. I have a original key and a secondary key. AND I have the original owners manual in leather bond case which looks very worn. The instructions for the radio / CD player are also with the manual.
Spots of trunk are leaf shading, due to treed area..     Very nice paint job.... Ask for clearer pictures.
Good tires plus spare, and one full cover
