Selling 1985 Jeep CJ7. If you have been looking for a nice / custom classic Jeep CJ7 that is turn key ready to go (you found it). * Not your run of the mill everyday stock CJ. NOTE to lookers &buyers. Jeep did not offer the CJ 7 in a V8 motor after 1981. Only in 4 or 6 Cyl. * This 1985 is now custom fitted with a V8 350 Chevy motor with TBI fuel injection and headers under the hood. The transmission is now a Chevy turbo 350 auto trans backed with a B&M floor shift box. Put in drive and go like all auto transmissions. "Or" you can have fun and manual shift this one. This Jeep is fast and will come alive if you put your foot in the throttle hard - SEE DRIVING VIDEO. The 4 by 4 transfer case is DANA 300. Rear end is a nice built Jeep amc 20 with upgraded one piece axles. Axle tubs welded = stronger. Rear end is the good Posi trac . Front end is Jeep Dana 30 also fitted with "locker" and locking hubs. All 4 wheel drive in great working order. ( SEE VIDEO I show the 4 wheel drive and lockers working.) *It will climb anything you point it at. Jeep has a 4 inch suspension lift for better ground clearance and a reverse spring shackle upgrade on front to improve steering and handling over stock. 33 tall by 12.5 M/T tires. 15 inch aluminum wheels. (Jeep clearance and suspension is set up to run also run the taller 35 if you ever want to go larger tire in the future. Front end re set correct at 6 deg caster and a new oem power steering gear box installed. The front end tie roads also upgraded to the bigger one ton style. Steering set up is now high steer for better ground clearance of steering parts. Custom transmission / transfer case mount and skid plate added under Jeep. *Jeep was painted in the must have color of Hot Rod black. Painted inside and out less than 30 days ago. SEE WALK AROUND BODY & PAINT VIDEO i cover body and paint up close. The Inside original rust free floors pans finished in rust proof / water proof raptor armor spray liner. New high back bucket seat just installed. 4 point lap & shoulder belts and full roll cage for added safety. Locking center console and two locking rear cargo boxes. CB and Am / Fm Stereo. Custom front bumper with Warn 9,500 power winch. Rear of Jeep fitted with class 3 tow hitch if you want to tow something. The bottom side frame and floor pans also rust free. Every thing cleaned, treated and detailed nice. This CJ is done, turn key ready to go to it's new home. All electrical in good working order. Heater, wipers, horn, lights and gauges work. The motor runs outstanding, no lack of power or performance in this CJ. Transmission shifts outstanding. It also stops straight and on a dime. = SEE DRIVING VIDEO.
