This monster sits on top 1985 ram charger axles, with lockers, 42” super swampers, 5.3 / 4l60 with 1500 mi on fresh rebuild (miles go up with use) custom 16” lift, spring over front / Tj coil rear, drivers great.
Exterior
1982 53000 mi Jeep CJ8 Scrambler the real Gladiator. The jeep sits on 42” swampers, custom 16” lift with 4 link in rear and TJ coils, fresh 06 LS from Tahoe and 4L60e trans both 400 mi (will go up driven on the weekend), Dana 300 t case. Body is solid and floors were patched along the way, the rear bed floor as some small holes under the size of a dime (under rear seat) inside is sprayed with bed liner so it should stay preserved, Rt side has some putty in it from a few dents. Paint is a 10 footer (my son and his buddies sprayed it for a school project). It’s not a trailer queen, mall crawler or show rig. It’s a wheeler and runner

This is a '73 Jeep, it looks great & drives good too. It has been restored pretty well I think. The 304ci V-8 runs great, it does not smoke, & is very clean. We think it must have been rebuilt at some point, but have no paperwork or details. There is NO heat & NO A/C on this. It does have power steering. The tires are in decent shape. There are canvas doors, they come off in about 2 seconds & go back on in about 5 seconds. The odometer is showing 70K, I am sure this is not correct. The speedometer bounces around once you get up over 40 mph, it probably needs a new cable or gear or both to get it working properly. It drives pretty smooth for a 4x4 with a short wheelbase at normal speeds.
I bought this in a package deal with a '47 Willy's, fully intending to sell it. I have owned it for about 6 months, drive it every week or so just for fun. It is time of it to find a new home.
