This 1971 Jeep CJ5 has the rugged look of a go-anywhere machine, and there is an upgraded V8 to make sure it really can live up to this legacy. But do not forget to check out all the well-done investments that not only add capability to this 4x4.
This Jeep just looks like it is ready for an adventure. It is painted the kind of safety orange that tells you it was made to get so deep into nature that most people will not expect to find a vehicle. And all the added dark pieces love to highlight just how fortified this 4x4 is. The black steel bumpers have big tow hooks and a Superwinch LP8500 winch; the wide fender flares accommodate the big off-road wheels and tires; and the rear has a big rack with a full-size spare. It is such a well-done total presentation that it reminds us this Jeep can look just as good out on the town as it does at the campsite.
The roll cage really catches your eye, and it is made with strong steel tubing. Plus, there's new Corbeau seating w/seatbelts, including the high-back front buckets with proper shoulder belts. These seats are done in a rugged vinyl, so it is a stout setup designed to have cleaning be as easy as a garden hose. The Grant GT steering wheel gives you great feel on the road, and the tall shifter is a good place to rest your right hand.
The Jeep's V8 is already an awesomely stout powerhouse, but one look at the tidy engine bay, and you can see there has been a big investment here in adding power. So now it has a mild cam, aluminum intake, and MSD Ignition. So, it makes for a stout package that fires up eagerly and runs strong. The automatic transmission was rebuilt to give you firm control over the V8 power. Add in wide Mickey Thompson Baja claw tires, power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front, and this is a true go-anywhere Jeep. AVAILABILITY
: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation. In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS
: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis. Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale. If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced. Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed. A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. PayPal and American Express is not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE
: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
Fees and Taxes
All finalized transactions will have additional charges if applicable which could include the following: sales tax, title fees, license & registration fees, and other additional government or licensing agency charges to register the vehicle. The purchaser is responsible for these charges.
The advertised price and winning auction bids shall include a document fee of $397.63.
All credit cards are charged a 3% convenient fee.

Finalizing your Purchase:
We will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit. Buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, or bank certified funds to Seller.
At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
