No expense spared with this 1969 Jaguar E-Type. A rare example of a true all-original vehicle. It looks amazing cosmetically and the current owner has updated mechanical aspects. It is ready to enjoy and drive.
HISTORY
The car was originally sold in PA and made its way to Victor, NY. It was owned by a local doctor who sold it to his brother in Yuma, AZ in the early eighties, where it stayed in a garage covered and was used on a sparing basis for local drives. His nephew then purchased the car about 7 years ago and used it very little. It was then transported to AlphaCars for cleaning & comprehensive inspection. We later sold the vehicle to its current owner, who has been meticulous in its care and service. The current owner has spent nearly $16,000 on making sure this Jaguar is as original and driveable as possible.
CONDITION
This rare and original Jaguar is in fantastic running condition. The patina and attention to detail that has gone into keeping this a prime original example is a true joy to see. With over $16,000 in documented improvements and service work, this Jaguar has been a labor of love and warrants admiration throughout the automotive community. There are no active oil leaks on the vehicle, all having been addressed. The owner disconnected the A/C compressor belt; the system will need to be converted to R13 for use. The most recent addition was replacing all 4 rims with updated tubeless rims to ensure reliable driving. The following terms of sale apply to all of our online sales.
Payment Methods:
Cash (In Person), certified check, bank transfer, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Call us for more information.
Deposit:
The successful high bidder will submit a $1,500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
Payment of Balance Due:
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Additional Fees and Taxes:
Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. Florida Residents pay 6.5% sales tax on the final sale price of the vehicle. All buyers are charged a $699 documentation fee. We may be required to collect sales tax for your state. Shipping:
The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company - call us at (561) 845-3838 for more information. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.
