1969 Jaguar 420G Right Hand Drive-a very rare 60s Jaguar Sedan that barely had 4000 produced as a carry over model to the new Series One Jaguar XJ6 sedan. This is the largest sedan Jaguar produced up until 2003 when they introduced the new aluminum bodied XJ8.
This wonderful Jaguar has BEEN SITTING in dry storage for the last 20 years until daylight shined once again on it when the unlocked storage door was finally reopened! This 420G is a completely original RHD, top of the line offering, with full leather interior, wool headliner, and power windows. The jaguar is powered by the large 4.2L dual overhead cam 6, with the much desired triple carburetor setup as found on the last powerful XKEs of the 60s. Final drive is handled by a 3 speed Borg Warner automatic gearbox. The engine turns freely and has been soaking with Mystery Oil and is waiting for final servicing before coming to life once again! The fuel and cooling systems will need servicing before the engine can be started. The brakes also need servicing. The trunk sports all the originally trimmings right down to the original tool box and jacking tools. The body is very sound with some surface rust but all the important areas are intact. The jag is currently sitting on 16in XJ8 rims for mobility but the original 14in rims. Here your chance to own a low production true classic at very little investment. 1951 Jaguar Mark V. Discovered in a garage of a collector of many items. It has been in dry storage for over 35 years. It has a 1952 Jaguar 6 cylinder engine with dual carbs. We have it running from an auxilary gas can. Car is mostly complete and solid. Sheet metal and floors are solid. Interior is complete. Glass is good. 12 volt system. Lights work.
