THE PAINT IS IN FLAWLESS CONDITION. IF YOU KNOW RESTORATIONS YOU WILL KNOW THAT BLACK IS THE MOST DIFFICULT COLOR TO GET PERFECT AND HAS ADDITIONAL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLOR, THIS CAR WITH PERFECT PANEL GAPS AND SHUT LINES DEMANDS A COMPLIMENT TO ITS ORIGINAL DESIGN OF PERFECTION. OVER $200,000.00 WAS INVESTED IN THIS RESTORATION ALONE AND THE BASE CAR WAS A LOW MILEAGE NO DAMAGE CLEAN 1968 JAGUAR VALUED AT $90,000.00.... TO DUPLICATE THIS EXACT CAR WOULD COST IN EXCESS OF $300,000.00 TODAY.....AT THE JAGUAR SHOW AND THE BRIDGEHAMPTON SHOW, I HAD REPEATED COMPLIMENTS THAT THIS CAR WAS THE BEST CAR AT EACH SHOW ABOVE ANY COSTING CAR IN ATTENDANCE. THE SHEER PRESENCE OF THIS CAR EVOKES AN ELEVATED HEART RATE.

1971 Jaguar Etype 4.2 liter Series 2 Roadster: One owner since new; California car with original blue plates; solid body; original interior; new tires; stored and not driven 20 years; engine recently serviced and running well. We purchased this car out of long-term storage from the original owners. It was sold new and garaged in California so the body is quite solid. We brought the engine back to running condition and it hits evenly on all cylinders (see video). All other systems need to be checked prior to driving. Everything included is pictured.
